Struggle for democracy – that could be suitable name for events taking place in Taipei in these days. For the period of one week, students have been occupying the parliament as protest against cross-strait service trade agreement. Thousands of people joined the protests and supported the students. It was quite peaceful demonstration until Monday morning, when plice used power(including water canon) to remove students from the Executive Yuan, governmental building where the protesters had broken into.Nevertheless, the protest continues. The sixth day of protests (Monday March 24) is captured in my photographs.
